Jungle Avenue

Lots of good reasons to live in a small beach town. One of my favorites is getting a call from the local boutique, Jungle Avenue. I know this call is only good!!  It’s a call for the latest in fashion hitting the jungle streets.  The summer line is here and I’d better hurry up the hill to check it out before it sells out. 

The minute I walk into the store I feel a smile on my face. The smell of new clothes, the touch of the new fabrics, the colors on the rack; all of it is too much fun and where to start.  At the same time Elena, the owner, and the designer is smiling with excitement to show off her latest creations.  I try on dresses - both beach and nightlife, skirts, shirts and they all fit just right.  After much thought, I pick out my 2019 summer/fall look all while making plans for tomorrow spot training and a weekend hike to the mountains. Also chatted with other shoppers about the fabulous jazz band from New York that just played last weekend at Emilio’s Café right next door.






So amongst the monkeys, sloths and rainforest lay some of the best-kept secrets.

We are so lucky to live in a town full of talent; being fashion design, fitness, culinary, woodwork, jewelry you name it – it’s surprisingly here! Yes, here in Quepos, Manuel Antonio!!



So back to Jungle Avenue – It’s the best of the BEST!
